The task for me, as a designer, was - to embed this diversity and the changing nature into the identity of a design, whilst keeping in mind the packaging ergonomics and production costs. In the process, we cleared away the wealth of the components and elements, simplifying and refining the design until we did come down to four concise, bold strokes of colour. Combining them we created a rhythm and unique style of LAB. Dynamic colour strokes are symbolically portraying the creative cooking process. I used a grid to add structure and ease perception of the product information, as a contrast to free brush stroke creativity expressions.
LAB is a new brand from Barcelona, with a core message of different approach and understanding of the food. It will take you on a journey of showing it through different experiences and techniques, thus developing the trust you need among the adventurers to climb even higher.
